The American Red Cross has announced additional dates for active threat training. This training is open to any member of our community. The following dates are confirmed:
Saturday, April 14: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Saturday, April 28: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Saturday, May 12: 1 – 4:30 p.m. (note: afternoon class)
Saturday, June 23: 9 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 14: 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
All trainings will be held at the American Red Cross – First Floor Auditorium (444 Sherman Street). Training will help participants to recognize when an event is happening and prepare to respond. Each session will also include hands-only CPR training and stop the bleed training that empowers individuals to act in the moment.
All participants must register in advance as space is limited.
